Bouncing baby
We got Max a bouncing contraption. You hook it onto a door frame and let him bounce around. We have to watch him pretty closely so that he doesn't go majorly airborne.

Stomach Sleeper
Max is now rolling like crazy. In this SIDS-obsessed age, we always put him to bed on his back, but he has started to roll over onto his stomach. Here is a picture of Max in his new sleep position and one of Max sporting a post-nap waffle pattern on his cheek and forehead thanks to Cordelia the corduroy elephant -- a stuffed animal he used as a pillow/drool catcher.
